Most of the Pokémon I seem to do lately tend to be Water-type Pokémon, but for this week's Surprise Trade, it will be Krabby, introduced in Gen 1 and hasn't been too great of a Pokémon until Gen 4 with the Physical and Special split.
Like with my other Surprise Trades, I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and I went with Adamant for the Nature, because Krabby has a high Attack stat, no wonder that thing had a rough start in Gen 1. For Egg Moves, I went with Knock Off, Hammer Arm, Night Slash, and Ancient Power, I didn't bother with Slash, because Night Slash is almost similar, so there wasn't any reason to go with Slash, I will list which parents in the Water 3 Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Ancient Power: Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Corsola, G-Corsola, Lileep, Cradily, Anorith, Armaldo, Tirtouga, Carracosta, Archen, Archeops, Binacle, Barbaracle, Cursola
Hammer Arm: Kingler
Knock Off: Corphish, Crawdaunt, Skorupi, Drapion
Night Slash: Kabutops, Corphish, Crawdaunt, Skorupi, Drapion
Slash: Kabutops, Anorith, Armaldo, Binacle, Barbaracle, Golisopod

Even though Hammer Arm is learned by its evolved form Kingler, it was better than having Slash. Next is level up moves, Krabby learns Water Gun, Metal Claw, Harden, Mud Shot, Protect, Bubble Beam, Stomp, Flail, Razor Shell, Slam, Swords Dance, Crabhammer, and Guillotine, its evolved form Kingler learns Wide Guard and Hammer Arm, and another thing is that Kingler has a Gigantamax form.
Then to go over TMs and TRs, for TMs, it can learn Dig, Rock Slide, Thief, Whirlpool, Facade, Brick Break, Dive, Rock Tomb, False Swipe, Brutal Swing, and Stomping Tantrum, and for TRs, it can learn Surf, Body Slam, Ice Beam, Agility, Amnesia, Superpower, Iron Defense, X-Scissor, Ally Switch, High Horsepower, and Liquidation, it has high Attack and Defense, so it shouldn't be taught any Special moves as its Special Attack stat is very low.
Some of the Krabby have Sheer Force, but the only moves Kingler can get that benefit from Sheer Force are Liquidation, Rock Slide, and that's kind of about it, Kingler doesn't get that many moves that work with Sheer Force, so it's more of Hidden Ability collectors. Hyper Cutter is better in Double Battles, but it is not easy to fit Kingler in on a team when Gyarados is much better. Kingler does have G-Max Foam Burst, which lowers the target's Speed by two stages, but you are better off having a Pokémon with Icy Wind, and once again, Gyarados can boost its own Speed with Max Airstream through Bounce.
Kingler can use Agility to boost its Speed and Swords Dance to boost its Attack, and deal some heavy damage with Crabhammer, Rock Slide, and Superpower, and that's all it can do. Kingler is outclassed by better Water-type Pokémon, like Gyarados, Swampert, Azumarill, Barraskewda, and Rapid Strike Urshifu when it comes to Physical Water-type Pokémon, but for Water-types overall, it is overshadowed by Tapu Fini, Toxapex, Wash Rotom, Primarina, Lapras, Blastoise, and many others.
Kingler is the same deal in Double Battles, Hyper Cutter is nice for preventing its Attack from being dropped by Intimidate, and it does have access to some nice moves like Wide Guard and Ally Switch, as well as some good attacking moves like Crabhammer, Rock Slide, and High Horsepower, but it is outclassed by better Water-type Pokémon, like Gastrodon, Politoed, Milotic, Lapras, and many others, Kingler's G-Max Foam Burst can be helpful in lowering Speed, and Gigantamax is preferred for Kingler, but then again it it outclassed by Gyarados, so it is there if you want to use it.
Krabby and its evolved form Kingler has had it rough throughout the generations, before Gen 4, Water was a Special type, and Kingler was one of those Pokémon that couldn't make use of its type for attacking, and it was good that we got the Physical and Special split, because that did help Kingler out a bit.
