I go through a bit more of the story before facing Hop once again (4:04). After beating him, I heal up at the Pokémon Center before heading off to Route 9 (13:54), which is a pretty long route. On the way, I help the same scientist who gave me the bike before, and he upgrades it so it can travel on water (20:44). It’s basically an instant change now, which makes better than how traveling on water was before. After battling a good amount of trainers, I finally make it to the outer part of Spikemuth (48:31), where I meet up with Marnie and battle her (50:07). With her help, I enter Spikemuth (56:06), heal at the Pokémon Center, stock up on some items, and save.
