I test out a new Pokémon that was added in an update, and that Pokémon is Espeon, and there is a new detail added into the game, and that is with Eevee, there is an icon around the level which is how you can tell what Eevee will evolve into, Sylveon was also reworked that way. I will list the other players, I won't include their usernames anymore, instead the Pokémon that were on that side, starting with my side.
Slowbro
Machamp
Gengar
Charizard

The opponent's team of Pokémon.
Mr. Mime
Greedent
Blastoise
Wigglytuff
Gengar

One thing I want to go over that I am not pleased with, Espeon got datamined a month before release, and the next Pokémon that is coming also got datamined, I won't say what Pokémon it is just to keep it a surprise. While I do like how being Sylveon and Espeon are in the game, and both start out as Eevee, I would not mind seeing Pokémon that have split evolutions being added, like Gallade, Slowking, or even Raichu be added into Pokémon UNITE.
Going over Espeon, it starts out as an Eevee, and the nice bit of detail is that Espeon evolves from a female Eevee, while Sylveon evolves from a male Eevee, you can see from the Eevee's tail pattern. Espeon is available through a special event, but once the event is over, you can purchase the Unite License for Espeon through the Aeos Emporium. Its Ability as an Eevee is Anticipation, which negates any hindrances Eevee is affected from for a short time, and for its basic attack, it becomes a boosted attack every three attacks, and it deals increased damage. Its starting moves are Swift and Growl, Swift is a ranged move that deal damage, and Growl deals damage and decreases the opposing Pokémon's movement speed for a short time.
Eevee evolves into Espeon at Level 4, and it learns either Psyshock or Stored Power, they replace Swift, and it has Magic Bounce for the Ability, which has the same effect, the difference is that with Espeon, its Ability deals damage to the opposing Pokémon that attempted to inflict the hindrance and decreases their movement speed for a short time, and its basic attack becomes a boosted attack after a set amount of time passes, and it decreases movement speed of opposing Pokémon. Going over its moves, Psyshock is a ranged move which deals damage to opposing Pokémon and decreases their movement speed for a short time, and if all three projectiles hit, it leaves the opposing Pokémon unable to act for a short time, and Stored Power has Espeon fire blasts of psychic power at random opposing Pokémon, and it decreases their movement speed for a short time, and it can store up to five blasts at once, and when used, Espeon's movement speed is increased for a short time.
At Level 6, Espeon learns Psybeam or Future Sight, they replace Growl, Psybeam is a ranged move that deals damage, and it deals even more damage the higher the maximum HP of the Pokémon hit, making this good against Defenders, and Future Sight locks onto an opposing Pokémon and deals damage after a set amount of time, and it deals damage the lower the targeted Pokémon's HP is, and Espeon's other moves will target the Pokémon locked on, and it boosts the power of Psyshock or Stored Power.
Espeon's Unite Move is Psychic Solaire, which it learns at Level 8, it throws opposing Pokémon into its area of effect and then an explosion happens which shoves opposing Pokémon. At Level 10, Psyshock or Stored Power are upgraded, the speed of the projectiles from Psyshock are increased, while Stored Power deals additional damage to Pokémon with a lower percentage of HP, and at Level 12, Psybeam or Future Sight are upgraded, Psybeam deals additional damage to Pokémon unable to act, and the split rays deal additional damage to opposing Pokémon and leave them unable to act, and Future Sight deals additional damage to the Pokémon that the move is locked on to.
Being an Attacker, Espeon is all about ranged combat, it has great Offense, but its Mobility is quite low, making it an easy target for Speedsters, it tends to be the glass cannon type of Pokémon, much like other Attackers like Pikachu or Cramorant where they can deal a lot of damage, but they cannot take hits well. Espeon works best with items like Choice Specs or Wise Glasses, and depending on the set, it can use Energy Amplifier and Buddy Barrier to make use of its Unite Move. The best moves for Espeon are Psyshock and Psybeam, or you can go with Future Sight if you want, if you are going with Stored Power, I recommend pairing that with Future Sight to get the best use out of Stored Power. Its Future Sight can be very good against Greninja sets that use Double Team, as that can locate the real Greninja, which can it do well against other Attackers like Cinderace and Decidueye, where it can use Psyshock to bring their HP down quickly, and Espeon can use its Unite Move to stop their attacks.
