Here are the Pokémon selected for this match, I am using Alolan Ninetales in this one, and you would get it on Day 2 if you have checked in on Pokémon UNITE since its release day, so I decided to try and get the Pokémon you obtain from the 14-Day Welcome Gifts out of the way.
404A10 - Charizard
MRNIMBUS - Machamp
ProfElchel - Lucario
l4k - Greninja

The opponent's team of Pokémon
nizoxpaul - Greninja
zafrax - Alolan Ninetales
Arenario - Cinderace
lobolutador - Absol
SamhetVosje - Lucario

The game did get an update, which did give buffs to some Pokémon, like Charizard, Venusaur, Absol, Wigglytuff, and Talonflame. There are some Pokémon that receives nerfs, like Cinderace, Eldegoss, Gengar, Zeraora, Cramorant, Wigglytuff, and Machamp.
As Pokémon UNITE has been out for two weeks, at least that is the 14-Day Welcome Gifts done, and we don't get any new Pokémon added for this week, although I am seeing rumours that Blastoise will be added into Pokémon UNITE next, it is not confirmed, but it is speculated, but we did get a new Holowear for Absol in the update.
Time to go over Alolan Ninetales, it is Intermediate, Ranged, and Attacker, and it uses Special Attacks, it starts off matches as Alolan Vulpix, and it starts with either Powder Snow or Icy Wind. I will start with its basic attack, it becomes a boosted attack for every three hits, and it deals damage to nearby opposing Pokémon and decreases their movement speed for a short time.
I recommend starting with Icy Wind, it decreases the target's movement speed for a short time, and while Powder Snow has the same effect, Icy Wind is more powerful, but Powder Snow has less cooldown time, it has a very rough start as a Vulpix, as it is very frail, so I recommend evolve into Ninetales if you want to take part in battle.
At Level 4 is when Alolan Vulpix evolves into Alolan Ninetales, and it will learn Avalanche or Dazzling Gleam, replacing Powder Snow. Avalanche forms a wall of ice that cannot be passed through, and for a short time, the wall collapses, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in its area of effect. Dazzling Gleam allows Ninetales to attack with a powerful cone of blinding light, which leaves opposing Pokémon unable to act which this move hits.
At Level 6, Blizzard or Aurora Veil will be learned, and they replace Icy Wind. Blizzard decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time and it pushes nearby Pokémon, and when it hits an obstacle, it splits and spreads to the left and right. Aurora Veil is more of a defensive move, it reduces damage received by Alolan Ninetales and any ally Pokémon in the area of effect, and it increases Alolan Ninetales's movement speed and makes all of its basic attacks boosted attacks while Aurora Veil is in effect.
Alolan Ninetales's Unite Attack is Snow Globe, it is learned at Level 9, it attacks with chilly snow and ice, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect, and deals increased damage to opposing Pokémon that are frozen.
At Level 11, Avalanche or Dazzling Gleam will be upgraded, Avalanche decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time when the move hits, and Dazzling Gleam increases damage dealt and the length of time opposing Pokémon are unable to act. At Level 13, Blizzard or Aurora Veil will be upgraded, Blizzard's damage will be increased, and Aurora Veil further reduces the damage ally Pokémon take.
Alolan Ninetales's Ability is Snow Warning, which causes snow to fall on opposing Pokémon, dealing damage to them and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. When Alolan Ninetales attacks, it slings snow at the target, and after it attacks enough times, the target will be frozen, this can be good for slowing down opponents.
Alolan Ninetales pairs up well with items that boost Special Attack, like Wise Glasses and Sp. Atk. Specs, and the Shell Bell is a helpful item for enough healing when it damages opposing Pokémon. Alolan Ninetales is best used in the top row, as the boosts from defeating Bouffalant can help Alolan Ninetales defeat more opponents and score goals easier, while defeating Drednaw in the bottom lane can be helpful, as Ninetales is very frail, so the shield from Drednaw can help out for most of the fight.
Alolan Ninetales can be good if you can use it correctly, as it is best used from attacking at a good range with moves like Avalanche and Blizzard, but you can use Aurora Veil to support teammates, but its low Defense is a downside to it. I feel like fights are usually decided by whoever defeats Zapdos, because you get a lot of points for defeating it and opposing goals become defenseless.
