I enter another optional area, it is South Province Area Five, and this one has some Trainers and some Pokémon to capture. South Province Area Five contains different areas, there is the mountainous area, the grassy fields, and the beach, and it has many different Pokémon there.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

South Province Area Five is optional, but you do get an Eviolite from a League Staff for beating 7 Trainers, which is a good reward to pick up, and the encounters will take a lot of the description to go over.
Starting things off is Stantler, I recommend Intimidate if you want to use it, even as a temporary member, and by the way, Stantler cannot evolve in this game, there is data on Psyshield Bash being a move Stantler can learn as an Egg Move, but the only Pokémon that can learn it is its evolved form Wyrdeer, which we cannot obtain until Pokémon HOME connectivity with this game, it is a decent Normal-type at least.
Next are Zangoose and Seviper, they are not version exclusives, first is Zangoose, which has Attack for its best stat, and it comes with Slash and Hone Claws when caught. Zangoose does learn some good Physical moves like Crush Claw, X-Scissor, and Close Combat, which does make it a good Pokémon to add to your team if you want to use it.
As for Seviper, it has good offensive stats, but the rest of its stats are kind of average, the one advantage to Seviper is it gets Glare and Screech, and it can learn Coil, it's not the best Poison-type, but not bad if you want to use it temporarily.
Then we have Shroomish, which evolves into Breloom at Level 23 and becomes a Grass/Fighting-type, it has Attack for its best stat. If you want Spore, you have to hold off Shroomish's evolution till Level 40, but you can find Shroomish in Tera Raids which do come with Spore if you really want one that knows the move, otherwise it's a good option to pick up.
Croagunk can be found in the welands, where you can find Flamigo in the area, Croagunk does come with Venoshock at Level 20, and while it doesn't evolve till Level 37, it is a decent Pokémon. I recommend Dry Skin if you want to use it, and it can be a decent Mixed Attacker, its higher stat being Attack, and it can get Cross Chop as an Egg Move if that interests you.
Axew is a rare spawn, and while its evolution is very late, it is a good Pokémon, it learns Dragon Claw at Level 18, and it can pick up Dragon Dance at Level 27, its first evolution is at Level 38, and its final evolution is at Level 48, but once it is fully evolved, it has a very high Attack stat, while it will take a while, it will be worth it once you get it to its final evolution.
I'm not going over Pawniard due to how late that thing evolves, I don't recommend using it at this point, and you can find its evolved form Bisharp in the wild later on in the game, if you really want to use one, I recommend waiting till when Bisharp is available in order to use it.
Shellos can be found on the beach, this area has the East Sea Shellos, you can find West Sea Shellos in this game, they can be found on a beach on the western part of Paldea. Shellos is a bulky Water-type that becomes a Water/Ground-type when it evolves, and Storm Drain is the preferred Ability, it comes with Water Pulse when caught, making it a good team member if you want to use it.
One of the Trainers in the area uses Deino, which is exclusive to Scarlet, Deino can be found in Alfornada Cavern, which is later on in the game, its evolutions are very late, its first evolution is at Level 50, and its final form isn't until Level 64. You can find its evolved form Zweilous in the wild, and even then, you won't have Hydreigon till near the end of the game.
Going over the evolved Pokémon, I use Serebii.net to look up where Pokémon can be found, and it lists evolved Pokémon like Luxio, Hariyama, Staraptor, and Talonflame as Pokémon you can find there, you can encounter Vigoroth here, if you want to use it, catch a Vigoroth instead of wasting time finding a Slakoth. It also lists that you can find Naclstack, which is Nacli's evolved form, and it learns a move called Salt Cure which deals damage every turn, Water and Steel-type Pokémon take more damage, and I have read that Naclstack with Sturdy can beat Titan Pokémon if you make use of Sturdy and Salt Cure.
For Tera Type Battles, there is a Shinx with the Ice Tera Type, a Flamigo with the Bug Tera Type, which is at a higher level, a Level 50 Flareon with the Fire Tera Type, and a new Pokémon called Houndstone with the Ground Tera Type, Houndstone is the evolved form of Greavard, a Ghost-type Pokémon you can encounter in the northern areas.
As with the Boss Trainer, the one on the beach uses an Indeedee, Gulpin, and Azumarill, this one can be really tough, and on the site, it lists a Hiker with a Sudowoodo, Sneasel, and Lycanroc, I have not found that Trainer yet.
