Polynomial 2: Trippy VR space combat music visualizer [HTC Vive]
Polynominal 2 in a VR space fighting game that turns the galaxy into a music visualizer, load your own music.
Fly around colorful stars and nebulae to the beat of in-game music or load music from your computer into the game and watch the stars and fractal patterns light up in a trippy visualization of your music. You can also fight enemies and progress through levels.
The song in this video is the Tinkerbell end credit score by Joel McNeely. The song is played through the game and the stars and fractal patterns synchronize with it. You can choose to ignore the combat and main objective and fly off into space and explore cool fractal patterns while listening to music, that's probably mostly what I will do in this game.
This game support virtual reality on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift VR devices. It looks very nice in VR and there's no noticeable screen door effect with all the small objects everywhere.
