Portal 2 Gameplay on Ubuntu Linux (Native)
Gameplay of Portal 2 on Ubuntu 13.10, with maxed out graphics running at 1920x1080.
The Linux Beta is OUT NOW!! If you have it purchased, just download it and then right click it (in your Steam library), go to Properties, Beta and opt into the beta by selecting it. (This won't be necessary once it's officially released for Linux)
It's been a long time coming, and one of the most expected titles from Valve that us Linux gamers have been waiting on!
With this release, it could mean that Counter Strike: Global Offensive may be around the corner for us.
As can be seen in this video, the game performs very well. However, do take note of two issues I've currently experienced with it:
1. Wheatley and Announcer voices are silent most of the time (this is a bug/issue)
2. The 360 controller works! However, in the menus the analog sticks are not recognized. Used the D-pad to maneuver in menus.
