In this video I am playing the recently released for Linux Air Conflicts Pacific Carriers! More exciting is the fact it works with the Saitek X52 controllers!

I did not install any drivers or do any sort of configurations in Ubuntu. The controllers just worked. In-game, I did need to set the Throttle axis to the Z-Axis of the controller, and put button 5 for changing between planes, but everything else just worked!

Linux and Mac users will notice that the graphics are vastly inferior to Windows, and this is because the developers don't know OpenGL well enough like they know DirectX. Hopefully in the future this will improve, but for now I am glad we have the game on Linux.

It might also be cool to note that I couldn't get the Saitek X52 to work in Windows, it seems to think it's broken. Yet, on Ubuntu Linux it works. Go figure. The controllers are several years old, but still handle like a beauty.

The actual screen recording lags here and there because Vokoscreen stores the file on the harddrive in a rather large size, causing the harddrive to be overworked. I would have used SSR, but it doesn't seem to work on 64bit.
