1Game Information: Portal™ is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay.
The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life® 2's Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.
Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.
Chapter Information: Now inside Test Chamber 17, Chell is introduced to the Weighted Companion Cube that she must use to navigate the hazards within the Test Chamber.
Carefully moving through the test chamber, Chell discovers another abandoned room filled with graffiti and begins to question if the Cake promise is even real and begins thinking about trying to escape from the testing course.
After being forced to burn the Weighted Companion Cube she had bonded with, Chell enters Test Chamber 18, the hardest chamber yet, and is pushed to use all her knowledge and skills to solve the mighty chamber which involves High Energy Pellets, Flinging, Cubes, Buttons, and Sentry Turrets.
Eventually managing to solve Test Chamber 18, Chell then ascends into the last lift that delivers her to Test Chamber 19 where the promise of Cake lies ahead for her.
