Oume is the boss of the game. She is a non-selectable character.

In the arcade version of the game she is just a colour palette swap of Otane, but in the Genesis version, she is an actual separate character in the game's data.

Her younger form (young Oume after you perform her throw) has a unique colour palette as well. This form is also known as Super Oume.

A tough old lady type, she is a well-known character in this series and is quite a comical character as well. The whole game itself is centered towards a humorous feel. She has a twin sister named Otane, who is the normal playable character in PI1.

---- As mentioned above, Oume on the Genesis / Mega Drive version of PI1 is an actual separate character in the data, unlike the arcade version.
