Tier lists for final fantasy pvp?
Yup.

As always this comes with the disclaimer of play what you want to play and don’t feel like you need to do anything you don’t want to. Doing this type of video is bound to get comments of a very spicy nature, but between my own personal experiences getting to almost-diamond and talking to many friends of mine there is a pretty clear difference in power right now between the jobs.

A LOT OF THIS IS HONESTLY BECAUSE OF CROWD CONTROL EFFECTS.

So broken busted mind blowing tier is going to two jobs in particular.

White mage and warrior.
Warrior gets an area of effect stun gapcloser that can easily assist in locking down an enemy team at the worst possible time for them, when their health is low, and causing them to be unable to restore their life. This sort of stun is extremely and I mean extremely strong. And it’s on a 15 second cooldown timer. The rest of warrior’s kit is also strong but primal rend on it’s own is bonkers. Guard removing ultimate, solid self sustain and the rest.

Next up is white mage which is similar to warrior but will also annihilate the enemy team with damage. Say the enemy team is half health or so, use white mage ult and stun them and deal solid amounts of damage, follow up with afflatus to do even more damage. If they somehow survive they will likely be panic spamming their self sustain.

Now combo warrior and white mage is something almost no team can handle, this combo absolutely flattens teams. And I mean like super duper massive backside crushing.


Next up is the exceptionally busted tier which isn’t quite as mind blowing but still will ruin your day.

First up is samurai that just has so much in it’s kit that it’s really overwhelming. Many dashes, tons of crowd control on it’s own and to be frank the shining star of it is the limit break that can very easily wipe the enemy team off the point when timed well. If a samurai is standing on point next to your team in overtime, it’s probably game over.

Next up is ninja that prettymuch when piloted properly will decimate the enemy team with a limit break that is extremely extremely bursty. If your team is low and a ninja is near it’s going to be a wipe.

Finally to wrap up this tier is, yes, yet again, another melee DPS. This time it’s the dragoon. It’s similar in idea to samurai where it’s limitbreak makes teams clumping on the objective basically actively throw the game at that point. But it’s also very powerful in sustained combat and can stay glued to targets and take significant amounts of punishment with built in sustain and incoming damage reduction. I’d say it’s probably at a baseline stronger than ninja, but I’ve seen some disgusting ninjas. But rest assured Dragoon more than deserves this spot.

Now we have those three nightmare fuel inducing jobs out of the way

Let’s talk about the A tier.

Depending on the team you’re on, bard can be stunningly broken. I know many will disagree but bard can basically for their team mates and when we talk about ultimates like dragoon’s, white mage’s and samurais if you have the ability to let them limit break more often then that alone is wild. The silence is also terrifying when timed right, silencing a target at low health adding onto the chain stuns of white mage and warrior? It’s absolutely disgusting.

Next up is summoner that has a decent bit of crowd control which makes it interesting to pilot, but sadly no stuns or silences. But it makes up for that with a massively strong ultimate that can ruin clumped teams. It’s like a worse dragoon sort of in my mind. Still strong though but just not as durable, not as high sustained damage, reliant on casts, same idea behind the limit break.


Next up is machinist which has a solid pinch ultimate, the real reason it’s just at the bottom of A tier is because outside of that it does have some crowd control but it’s sustained damage is just not great. The limit break takes a long time to build up, but when you can take down a low health priority target and make the round a 5v4 it is extremely nice. red mage astrologian scholar warrior dark knight gunbreaker paladin reaper sage black mage blm sge drk sch ast astro
