Quake beta3's E3M3 is another map with very noticable changes. First off, there are no Death Knights in this map, making the map easier than it is in the final game. The big lava room where you press switches behaves differently than in the final game as well, where the goal seems to be to press the required switches before a timer runs out and makes you die. This was removed in the final game.

This map has been played in Hard difficulty in order to show off every enemy spawn that the level has.
