Quest Updates & Ray-Ban Sellout! Apple Display Glasses, Gorilla Tag Bundle & More!
451This week in VR and AR, Meta’s Quest lineup sees both progress and puzzling removals. A new “Smart Storage” feature has started appearing for some users, while others report Meta quietly pulling certain system functions without explanation. Meanwhile, Quest 3 and 3s have officially overtaken the Quest 2 in SteamVR usage — marking a major milestone for the newer headsets.
Beyond the Quest, Ray-Ban Meta displays are now available in select U.S. stores but sold out almost immediately due to strong demand. Valve is expanding Steam Link support to Pico and Vive standalone devices, and Apple has reportedly paused work on its Vision Air headset. On the gaming side, Gorilla Tag gets a new “Cardboard Hero” bundle, and Microsoft Flight Simulator is officially coming to PSVR2.
