6Can a Collins-class sub defeat 2 Victor IIIs and 2 Akulas that sank one of its brothers, at elite difficulty?
In one corner, we have the HMAS Collins, the namesake of Collins-class sub. It's just a diesel-electric sub...built in the 1990s based on a Swedish 1980s design, but armed with modern American MOSS decoys and Mk 48 Mod 6 torpedoes. But can it stand against some of the most advanced Russian subs?
In the other corner, we have 4 advanced Russian subs, two Victor III, and two Akula-class subs, all of whom have TEST-71M wire-guided torpedoes, Vodopod aerial torpedoes, USET-80 advanced wireless torpedoes... and Akulas are known to take one hit but keep running.
Can the HMAS Collins avenge its brother HMAS Rankin and Commander Hugh Jarse aka Magz? (See the ending of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gfkrj3FMTow )
