Level 5 (Repton in the Sky with Diamonds) of Reptology1B, based on the infamous level "Giant Clam" from the original Repton. This adaptation is much harder than the original level, because it has been shrunk down to Repton 3 size, so there is much less room to outmanoeuvre the monsters, especially in terms of vertical movement -- the "arena" is only five diamonds high instead of eight, a substantial difference. However, this also means the upper part is much quicker to complete, so you do not need to rely on a long string of lucky chances.

In my opinion the best method is the same as on the original level: first quickly take the central diamonds while the eggs are hatching, as these will otherwise be by far the hardest to collect. Wait in the middle, so the outer monsters move inwards and the three are gathered as close as you can manage. Then run around in rectangles, pausing before turning each corner until the monsters are close to you: this minimises the likelihood that after turning two corners you will find them in front of you again.

Another difference is that, since this is Repton 3, the monsters must be killed: some players have been put off by this, but it is really very simple. All you have to do is go to the far left column in the lower part of the level, and the monsters will get themselves in position behind the rock.
