Resident Evil (1996) Walkthrough Part 8: Laboratory (T-002 1st Boss Fight)
0Chris continues investigating the research facility, finding two more codes needed to open the code-locked door in one of the lab hallways. Once he does so and restores power to the elevator leading further into the lab, he discovers that the door leads to a solitary cell currently occupied by Jill who was captured by Wesker shortly after their arrival to the mansion. Due to cell door remaining locked, Chris heads back out to look for a key, running into Rebecca with two using the elevator to go into the center of the facility where they are confronted by Wesker who finally reveals his true colors, admitting to have lured his supposed comrades into the mansion knowing it was a death trap and even admitting to have been the one who fatally shot Enrico Marini in front of Chris before seemingly killing Rebecca by shooting her as well. With Rebecca seemingly dead, Wesker takes Chris hostage and leads him into the room with a cryogenic tank containing Umbrella's ultimate bio-organic weapon codenamed T-002 "Tyrant", intending to thaw it out in order for it to kill Chris. However, his plan backfires horribly as the creature turns on him instead, fatally stabbing him with its giant claws before attacking Chris who manages to bring it down after a brief fight within the room. After defeating the T-002, Chris heads back out, meeting Rebecca who survived her gunshot wound thanks to her bulletproof vest. Two return to the facility's lower level with Rebecca suggesting that they trigger the facility's self-destruct sequence in order to wipe out all of Umbrella's monsters still within the mansion and all of their T-Virus research within the facility. Chris agrees, leaving Rebecca to trigger the sequence while he heads back to get Jill...
