Leon makes his way into NEST and explores it, eventually being confronted by Anette Birkin who reveals that Ada is in fact a corporate spy sent to steal Umbrella's secret research. Leon refuses to believe her with Anette retreating upon sudden appearance of T-00 whom Leon subdues before moving into power room where the resilient monster corners him, with Ada suddenly appearing and attacking it, causing the monster to violently slam her into a console and trigger a self-destruct sequence of the entire facility but not before being knocked down into a pit of molten lava. Dying Ada thanks Leon for protecting her with Leon leaving her corpse and moving to escape, being contacted by Claire who asks him to collect G-infected Sherry from the security room. Leon obliges, collecting Sherry and taking her to the train platform meant for the employee evacuation at the very bottom of the facility before heading out to make the final escape preparations while waiting for Claire to arrive as well...
