1,172After facing against the Lightwarden of Il Mheg in a chaotic and whimsical battle, we eventually defeat Titania, the currently-possessed Faerie King, and absorb their essence. In doing so, we cleanse the light-corrupted skies of Il Mheg and bring night onto yet another province of Norvrandt. However, shortly after doing so, Feo Ul, our trusty pact-bound pixie ally, informs us that it is customary for those who best the King of Il Mheg to become the next King; similar to that of a trial by combat. Though before we are unwillingly granted the role of an eternal king, Feo Ul spares us from such a fate and takes the role for themself, thus becoming the new Titania of the lands.
Meanwhile, in Lydha Lran, the pixies struggle to keep the Eulmoran army at bay, but Ran'jit single-handedly has pushed the pixies back by seeing through their tricksy magic. However, once the night sky has been returned to the lands of Il Mheg, the Fae folk of the land combine their magic and methods of mischief in various and chaotic means to drive back the forces of Eulmore, including the famed-and-feared Ran'jit.
After saying our goodbyes to Feo Ul and the rest of the Fae folk, we make our way towards the Crystarium to check if they've fared well on their front against the Eulmoran army. We discover that they seem to have made it out almost completely unscathed from the conflict, allthewhile experiencing their new life with a normal, pure sky to look up to. However, as we were taking in the peaceful view, a new face appears before us: Solus zos Galvus, First Emperor of the Garlean Empire. Or, that is what he went by under an extremely popular alias. He instead reveals to us his true name: Emet-Selch, Ascian. Equal in rank to Lahabrea, though very different in strategic approach from his fellow counterparts. Unlike the rest of his kind, Emet Selch has come forth to not threaten opposition, but offer cooperation. Though, despite his seemingly good-willed approach, the Scions immediately become highly guarded and prepare themselves for a violent confrontation. After futilely attempting to push his offer, Emet-Selch decides to teleport away whilst making it clear that we will meet again "soon".
And with all of that done and out of the way, we return to our quarters at the inn and have a nice, friendly chat with Ardbert before heading off to sleep. And now, we awake to face another adventure; an adventure into the lands of the Rak'tika Greatwood!
