Ryzen Pro Mobile Announced & Threadripper 2 Already Shipping | Intel 10nm Product Spotted
Today, AMD have a couple of announcements for us. The first of which is regarding Threadripper 2000, AKA Threadripper 2. Apparently, it's already shipping in the hands of partners, so we know of three SKUs at the moment, which does lineup with the previous expectations of when these HEDT CPUs will launch.
On the lighter side of things, AMD also announced Ryzen Pro Mobile, with desktop and mobile APUs pairing Zen and Vega together. We have specs for all of the announced chips, as well as a look at any improvements made over the previous generation.
Moving over to Intel, the first Intel Cannonlake Core i3 8121U 10nm processor has been spotted, one of the first products from the much delayed 10nm CPU lineup. While this is just one SKU, it does give us a look see at what to expect, specs and improvement wise, from this processor line.
Finally, Nintendo announced that the NES Classic will be making it's promised return, after huge availability issues plagued the initial launch. While this is yet another limited run, hopefully the NES Mini/Classic will be a bit easier to get old of for gamers...
