Safari Guns is a game I discovered back around 2013 when I was hunting (ahem) around for games to try for the playguides. I had so much fun with this compared to trying to re-learn Take 'Em Out from back in the day, so instead of that game we have this. I think it plays well and is addictive, although Wild Life is not much fun compared to the original.
The game is played in NTSC mode so that we get the full screen experience, with smooth 60fps scrolling. The music seemed too fast at first, but now I prefer the more poppy NTSC version over the more chilled PAL title music.
I added a number of youtubers in the video by cutting out images I found online. This came about because I wanted to see what it would look like with Mike Matei in place of a monkey. It worked, so I added The Nerd looking at a monkey, and then a few other youtubers. I wouldnt be still making these guides if it wasnt for them, and Steve and John Gage were on the scene well before I was. I looked out for other youtubers, but I couldnt find images of them, so thats a blessing in disguise really.
Yes its another French game, have you even heard of it before?? If so, leave a comment.
