Like Aladdin, this one was recorded for another time, maybe another series, but as Ms Mad Lemon covered the game so well recently, I put the project on hold. I didnt get as far as she did, and my plays were rubbish. On the 18th of August this year, I went back to this game, and recorded a much longer play, and I got about as far as Maddie did in her play. But I still wanted to postpone the game to give her work some breathing room. This game was not even in the list of games for this series (even though it is clearly a SEU), but when my original choice for this week - Killing Machine - turned out to be a very average game, I left that on the cutting room floor and selected this game instead.
Some youtubers say they work hard, but this week I've been busy making 3 shows for while I'm on holiday, plus I have 4 films for clients and my normal work load. Like Aladdin, I choose to save time by using an auto-normalise on my narration, which means its a bit louder than the game footage in this video. This is particularly notable at the start, when the game introduction music seems quiet. I often plan reviews in my head a year in advance, so to finally see the arcade version and then hearing me hammering away on the space bar in the Amiga version seemed just like I imagined.
