Aladdin (Amiga) - (comedy?) Lava Level and Turbo Tunnel - Jumping Spikes Mondays
19Here is the footage I shot after the lights went out on my high score attempt. I dont usually use savestates to practice a level, but with this game I was curious to see what was around the next corner...

Yes this is from the very same footage file as the review, only a little more chopped down for time. The video starts from where the previous one ended, with the game over screen, and then we carry on from there. I cut at least 7 runs, three in the lava level and 3 in the water jum section. plus at least one run along the flying carpet turbo tunnel, to save some time. The full length of the original game footage was 1hr 24mins, half of which was these shots of my practices. I think if the game had a few continues, it would have played much better. But after I saw the AVGN video where this stuff was curiously cut very short, it made me want to show how bad it can get for newbies. I never got anywhere near this level back in the day.
This is just a on-off show from the cutting room floor, as a funny aside from the usual format, and also to mark the start of a weeks break in Spain - my first holiday abroad in perhaps 20 years. As such, I dont have time this week to edit the Aladdin game video, and also the game for next weekend (because wont be here), and also this one. In order to save time, I used an auto normalise function instead of manually editing it section by section, so you will notice the different spikes as I speak closer and then further away from the microphone.
The caption talking about refreshments and snacks was one of the last things to go in. The small print underneath came from online official Disney Terms and Conditions of Service documents. I dont understand what this means either (the gag is more WTF than lol).
Yes I know I didnt actually jump any spikes in the video, the name of the video is a Cinemassacre reference.
