Amiga Workbench 1.x Early Graphics and Polyscope Demos (music, no voice)
We have been playing Monster Business in the Lemon competition this month, and I wanted to play some of the songs from this game, which I never played before. Featured are two songs from the game, on top of the Electronic Arts Polyscope demo, and some general graphics and filled polygon demos for the original WB1.x.
Ripped: 21st September 2016, and 21st October 2016.
Edited: 11th November 2017 (make love not war)
The Amiga was a powerhouse of imagination back in 1985, and back then, the 256 colour mode was absolutely amazing for me, coming from a Commodore 64 background.
I filmed all of this stuff, plus a whole lot more, for the Quantum Leap films, so this is the longer version of the footage you saw in the Part 4 of that film. The voice chat using the ABASIC Speak program was made in case it was helpful for the From Bedrooms To Billions - The Amiga Years movie, as I ripped half of the footage for that project for them. But in the end they didnt use it. Probably better for a teaser trailer rather than the main film. Its good to release this stuff.
Note: This film is similar to the Amiga Workbench 1.x video released by Dan Wood in 2010, but I doubt this one will get 14,000 views.
