Talk with Horace Highwater: 24:53
Another filler part in terms of gameplay, though at least new portions of Antiqua can now be explored with Private Hazard being able to long jump across the broken bridge. We're able to make our way to an archaeological dig site spearheaded by the Antiqua leader Horace Highwater, who provides a nice infodump to keep in mind. He and his partner Madronius also dug some trenches to keep the baddies away from the Diamond Eyes so that helps them get to make it clear to the Boy that he's being manipulated. Hopefully the Boy won't half-effort the notion of being Genre Savvy now, right?
....and I realize I made a factual mistake. I'm remembering now that I type this out that there's a THIRD alchemist peddler in Antiqua, discounting the Atlas Amulet seller. There's a reason I got myself confused about this in general if you're wondering.
Also, in the southeast corner of the screen with Horace's Camp as the place is called, there's hidden freaking tree paths holding sniff locations. I actually stumbled upon what you're REALLY supposed to do by pure accident on recording--bringing up the menu to pinpoint your location--but if not for that, I'd be wondering how somebody who isn't using an emulator that allows for disabling a given portion of the graphics is supposed to handle this. Just thought I'd share that bite of annoyance.
Next part is going to be a doozy. I won't even put this up to a vote; I already know which of the two available dungeons I'll tackle first and I can tell you that I'm definitely going to need preparation to set up the video.
