This battle can be quite a road block. The enemy time mages and wizards have unique skill sets, giving them access to spells like Dark Holy or Gigaflare, and have tremendous faith. However, they have low HP, and therefore, are squishy.

I had two strategies in mind for this battle. Either the samurai approach, using Muramasa to inflict AoE damage on them while healing myself, or the chemist approach, throwing X-Potions, and having each reviving towards my own characters. I decided to go with samurai because of the equipment options (more HP) with Item secondary, on everyone. Except Sara, who had yet to unlock samurai. I made her a chemist instead. And while she was a chemist, I thought I'd also give her Meatbone Slash and hope I can make use of that. I also made Rafa a knight (for high HP) with Item secondary. Although she still was OHKOed though.

Most people use Mustadio for this battle. Indeed, his Seal Evil is extremely handy against undeads, but I haven't been training him, nor did I want to. Other strategies for this battle could involve wearing N-Kai Armlets (halves dark damage), or trying to run enemies out of MP (Bizen Boat, etc), but they still do high damage, and they have some 0 MP skills as well. Anyway, this battle went well enough that I won on the first try, so it's all good.

Near the end (at around 8:40), when Seijin's turn came up, I was worried about my units crystallizing. Why? Because one of the enemy Ghosts' counter was at 0, so I was afraid that he'd revive and that I would then be unable to finish both or more enemies before Ramza or Sara crystallize. But then I saw that all three of my characters' turns would come up before the Ghost's, so I could finish off the time mage safely.
