Seijin Plays Super Mario RPG Armageddon Part 19 : Star Hill & Seaside Town
0Intro : Super Mario RPG Armageddon is a fanmade hack of Super Mario RPG, by Dark Kefka. Its goal is to make the game more challenging and giving even veterans of the game a run for their money. Not only do monsters get a stat overhaul, but they also get completely new attacks. Additionally, there are countless several difference here and there. Weaponry, magic, items... everything has changed.
First of all, my apologies for the sound being out of sync. Blame YouTube.
This video covers three areas : Star Hill, Seaside Town, and the "Sea" area before reaching the Sunken Ship.
In Star Hill, I obtain a Star Gun, a weapon for Geno which increases his magic attack. Note that there's a slight bug which makes this weapon reappear everytime you leave the map and come back, but I refuse to abuse that bug. Anyway, I decided to keep the previous weapon due to its higher base attack.
I mostly avoided enemies as is usual for me, but I did fight a few random battles. Well, two, to be exact. The first one by accident, the second on purpose. Honestly, I never liked this area much.
In Seaside Town, I hesitated between what to buy with my frog coins. I ended up buying nothing for the time being, but I bought some items later on (in a few videos). I also visited the rest of the town in case there would be something new. There were indeed a few interesting things sold in a shop, but I bought nothing. I then moved on to the sea.
I bought a Scepter for Mallow, which largely increases his physical and magical offense, and a few other things. I then saved as soon as I reached the ship.
