Session 4: Time Trial & Battle Mode (Super Mario Kart)
0After the extremely difficult run through 150cc, I decided to have a relaxing romp against myself before calling the game quits. And it was there in Time Trial that I FINALLY figured out the timing to get a boost at the starting line.
Now, this is a used copy I'm playing, so I'm not entirely sure how many of the record times are mine and how many belong to previous owners. I wasn't terribly worried about breaking any records, though. In fact, I wound up doing plenty of goofing off. (Especially when there were empty slots in the records.)
Something I should note is the Replay feature. Sometimes it gives the option, sometimes it doesn't. I imagine it gives the option only if you don't take a long time getting through the course. More importantly, though, there's a feature where you can rotate the camera around your racer during the replay. That's another thing that only works under certain conditions, and I'm really not sure what those conditions are.
Finally, there's Battle Mode. When I was a kid, I was able to play this mode against my cousins all the time. Now that I'm all grown up, I have nobody to play with (or at least, nobody that would be interested). So, who am I playing against in this video? My feet. =P
