Skyrim 100% Maximized Legendary Playthrough - 314. Mzinchaleft Finale
2Having started it yesterday, we finish up Mzinchaleft today. Our primary reason in coming here was the Dark Brotherhood side contract Kill Maluril, which we've already taken care of, but we can also complete Mjoll the Lioness' favor quest by finishing the dungeon and retrieving Grimsever for her.
The second zone is a Falmer zone, because goodness knows we just haven't gotten enough of *those* lately. Our only consolation is that I'm pretty sure we've done a majority of the Falmer dungeons in the game now, so they should be less prevalent for the rest of the playthrough.
There's not a lot to say about this one. The zone is divided up into three parts - the first which has an underwater section, the second where you have to open a gate to move forward, and the third before the door to the final zone. The final zone is just a single room that contains the boss, a Dwarven Centurion. Grimsever is here amongst a lot of other loot. We also open what I think is the last elevator down to Blackreach before returning to the surface.
We return home for a massive sort n' sell, as is standard when finishing a Dwemer/Falmer dungeon, where between the heavy Dwarven metal items and the heavy Falmer weapons and armor we're always bursting at the seems. Next time we'll return to the Dark Brotherhood main questline, where we're on Recipe for Disaster.
