Egg Lancer

There isn't really a lot of talking in this duel--it's not Eggman piloting that machine, that's why. It's a trio of his robots doing the work. I guess that's the reason why this thing has such a predictable pattern...You never see the robots, but the voices are the same as the battle in the 360/PS3 version against the Egg Devil Ray, where you DO see them.

The Egg Lancer is the last running boss stage in the game. If you've seen the boss battle against the Egg Beetle I put up earlier, you may notice some familiar elements, such as the snapping pincers. It also combines elements from the Egg Devil Ray, such as the lasers. Together, they make the boss...well, not that hard, to be honest.

There are three opportunities to hit the Egg Lancer per lap, plus a Quick Time Event at the end of each lap that does major damage. To get the S-Rank, you need to finish off the Egg Lancer in two laps.
