I've just bought a Sony FDR-AX53 for using as a vlogging camera that has to be good for automatic shooting.

In this test I'm testing its various types of stabilisation settings hand held and seeing how well the AX53 is in automatic mode for focus and exposure, which is really important when you're in front of the lens.

The first part of the test is using the internal mic which is set manually for its input level. I think the internal mics sound great, even though I don't usually record dialogue with a stereo microphone. Further on in the test I'm using an external microphone, the ME64 by Sennheiser. The mic input on the AX53 is awesome.

This test was really just a preliminary test for me to gauge things about this camera but as I was very impressed with this first test I decided to put it live on my main channel and not as a hidden test on my test channel.
