About this video:
In this video, Robin from rbn hardware goes over the latest and most recent rumors and leaks regarding the new Sony PlayStation 5. We will be covering possible price, specifications in terms of graphics (GPU) and CPU, as well as look at Sonys latest patent that might bring backward compatibility to the new ps5 as well. to this point, its almost certain that PlayStation 5 will be supporting PlayStation 4 games, but it is still unclear if ps1, ps2, and ps3 games will be supported through emulation.
Sony recently turned in a patent that would make this happen, so fingers crossed.
In terms of specifications, PlayStation 5 is looking to be fitted with a ryzen 3xxx 8 core zen2 or possibly zen+ CPU processor clocked at 1.6GHz with turbo up to 3.2 GHz. In terms of graphics, the upcoming ps5 will most likely be using amds navi 7nm architecture with 8GB of fast GDDDR6 memory fast enough to be able to run games in native 4k 60fps. In terms of price, Sony might be selling the ps5 at a starting price of $500 UD dollars MSRP, and there might as well be a PlayStation 5 pro in the making as well.
As far as psvr goes, psvr2 will be built into the PlayStation 5 console and Sony is working on new VR controllers and possible vr gloves as well. Sony won't be attending e3 2019, but rumors and leaks are pointing towards a psx event in December 2019 where Sony will be showing off PlayStation 5, following up with a full release and launch in March 2020 or November 2020, depending what Sony decides to go with. Right now dev kits are out and games are being tested there are many games in the development, both new ip:s and existing ones. PlayStation 5 will be a true beast when it launches. when the new PlayStation 5 coming out, in this video we look at the latest news and leaks when Sony will be launching the next new play station console.

From eurogamer:
and whispers are evolving into stories on major sites, website Semiaccurate is offering top-tier subscriber-level access to what it says are early specs, while unverified leaks and elaborate fakes are starting to hit game forum ResetEra. While PlayStation 5 is indeed in development, firm details on the hardware are obviously limited - we are some way off release, after all. But Sony, and indeed Microsoft, operate within a world of existing technologies available to multiple vendors, and we can offer a good idea of the challenges and possibilities available to the platform holders - not to mention when a new machine may become viable. And there's also a big question we can perhaps address - the extent to which an actual generational leap is possible.
Let's begin with timing. What we do know is that Mark Cerny has once again been hitting the road, talking to developers about their needs for the next-gen PlayStation. But in terms of when an actual retail console is likely to be delivered, there are two crucial technological hurdles that need to be cleared before production of a final unit can begin: that'll be the availability of a smaller, denser process for manufacturing the system's main processor, plus the necessity for newer, faster memory.
