Soulslinger: Envoy of Death is a first person shooter mixed with roguelite gameplay.
You enter sections of the Games, that are mostly smaller open areas where monsters spawn in which you have to defeat. In a way it's an Arena Shooter. After you succeeded, you get a Bonus and you can pick a path where you want to go. The Portals also show which bonus you can get in the next area.
So you can build up your powers to have a certain tool set.
Some power mix well together, some don't, so it's a little trial and error.

The further you get the more difficult these Arenas get and you will eventually die.
But when you die, you take resources with you, which you can use to buy upgrades in the hub, that makes your next run easier.
So far the Game is in early access and you can fully finish the first section on the game and partially finish the second section. There is also a secret Graveyard section, but it's basically one single (but bigger) arena.

I think the Game is good so far, but unfinished (by the point the Video was released).
But in a roguelite Game, it's more about playing the game and not forwarding it.
