Spartan X (Saturn) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
211A playthrough of Irem's 1996 arcade port for the Sega Saturn, Spartan X, as included in the Japanese-only Sega Saturn release, Irem Arcade Classics published by I'Max. The original game was known as Kung Fu Master (and later Kung Fu on the NES) when it was released in the west.
Played through on hard mode with the arranged soundtrack.
The emulation of the game is as arcade-perfect as you could ask for (even though the scaled resolution makes things a bit chunky looking), including a difficulty level much higher than that in the NES game. I'm a fan of the remixed music - the original 1984 arcade game's music is a bit grating in my opinion.
This compilation was also released on the PS1, but I figured that I don't show the Sega Saturn enough love, so I went with that version. It also features the arcade versions of Zippy Race and 10 Yard Fight.
