I'm still practicing the Splatterscope, and maybe I'll get some splats this time. Maybe not if I'm just going to rush in to the middle of everything. And I have an E-litre 4K on the other team to compete with range. I cover up the Octobrush's track on my return, I don't know why, they'll just run to create a new one, and hop on to the Tower. It seems like my best option for contributing to the battle. Mind you, throwing Splash Walls is also handy. I abandon the Tower when under pressure, returning when the pressure is relieved, although I have to dodge the E-litre 4K's attention a little.

My squidmates shoo the charger away, and I catch the Splat Roller being a little obvious, which gives me a peaceful ride for a little bit. A blue inkling hops on the Tower but shares a splat with a squidmate with me, and I keep going, the stutter stopping the blue Ink Storm from causing too many problems. I try to hide behind the column, but my squidmates are doing a good job of keeping the blue team away. I help with a Suction Bomb Rush, dropping a bomb down to the side, where a blue inkling is coming. Unfortunately, it's the Octobrush, and they splat me before I can react.

The Octobrush is hit with one of my Suction Bombs, and my squidmates have splatted the rest of the blue team, leaving just our Splattershot up, who moves to the Tower. I super-jump back to them and, between dodging Chickens, increase our lead even further. I don't get to the goal, though, as trying to avoid the Octobrush makes me a target for the E-litre 4K. I return to try to hold our turf, but find out that the Octobrush has Ninja Squid pretty soon. Now we're all splatted, the Tower is coming our way, and the E-litre 4K is holding station. I'm pleased with my shot from behind the Splash Wall, at least.

I'm nervous about the sounds of the Splat Roller below me, so get a bit more height. That lets me see the Jet Squelcher being a little too casual, but despite watching the Splat Roller get on to the Tower I still snatch at my shot. At least I dodge the E-litre 4K's attention, not that it matters with the Octobrush around. I come back with a tempting Inkjet flying around. I don't hit that, but manage to help clear the Tower and ride it back a little, until it's clear I'm leaving myself open to the E-litre 4K.

I hide for a bit, popping up to activate a Suction Bomb Rush that clears the turf around me, if nothing else. I try to hold the central turf, but it's a losing proposition with the blue inklings on the Tower to the right and ahead of me. I push forwards to try to close down the E-litre 4K but am in the wrong position, and in trying to bring down an Inkjet again I present myself as a target. I don't quite get my return shot on target.

I return to see my squidmates recover the Tower, but also the Octobrush approaching. As the Tower is safe, I focus on the Octobrush. I never have much luck against them. I do well not to get splatted, either from their brush or the Inkjet, and just stay safe until a squidmate saves me. By then, the Tower is coming back our way again, not that I'm in much state to help, but that's okay. My squidmates stop the Tower just as time runs out, to secure the victory. Woomy!
