Much like Salmon Run, I always like to ink walls before getting too involved in things. And with the Carbon Roller, I'd rather have lots of ink down before pushing too far forwards, hence my staying back a bit to start with. That yellow ink coming from the other flank catches my attention too, but it looks like a yellow inkling just wanting to gain some turf and no one is flanking. I try to sneak forwards using my Ninja Squid to catch the inkling out ahead of me, but it's always a bit risky to rush towards someone actively inking turf. I just run in to their sloshing. At least I made their Quick Respawn useless.

I ink a defensive path back to the action, and throwing a Chicken splats the Splatterscope that I cautiously back away from, letting me push forwards as my squidmates recover the Tower. They are splatted off by the Tri-slosher, and although the green bucket is splatted too the Kensa Sloshing Machine sticks around. I slide forwards to try to catch them out, and this time it works. They are sticking to the Tower waiting for me, but don't see my snail trail. Nice! Now we start making some progress.

I stick to the back, watching for opportunity, protecting our flank, and look to splat the bucket. They drop down from the grate, hide behind the bridge, and apparently fall down the pit. That'll do. Next target is the Sting Ray threatening the Tower, but a squidmate's Inkjet gets to it before me or my Chicken, and that's okay. I'm in a good position to catch the returning bucket, but the Tower has kinda gone backwards, and heading there only runs me in to the other bucket again.

The Tower hasn't gone far by the time I reach it again, and it is curiously free. I hop on, still looking for the lead, hopping off only to catch the bucket approaching. My ambush doesn't quite work, though. I head straight back to the Tower, being hit with a Sting Ray, only for the Sting Ray to be gone and a squidmate beating me to the Tower, and taking the lead as they do. Nice! I leave them to it, with an Ink Storm to help, and get some height. All looks calm, the yellow team pretty much just returning to the action, as a squidmate extends our lead.

I'm in a good position to drop down and keep the push going, albeit not for long with a Splat Bomb landing next to me. I'm happy to see the Dualie Squelchers splatted by a squidmate, letting me turn around from running away, although I can't say I make the most of the opportunity, as I pretty much just run in to a splatting. Still, our lead is pretty big and should hold if we don't get careless.

I super-jump to save a few seconds, apply some inky threat, and think better about riding the Tower. Instead, I get some height again and drop on to the Splatterscope with impeccable timing. Trying to catch up with the Dualie Squelchers has them splatted ahead of me, but so much more happening around, with my narrowly avoiding a Splashdown from the Kensa bucket, before somehow avoiding getting sloshed by the little green bucket. I don't know how I did that.

I push the Tower forwards a little at a time, adding pressure to the yellow team without risking getting splatted, as we have the lead, before heading up to the top of the drawbridge again. It's worked well for me so far. I try to keep tabs on the yellow inklings whilst staying relatively safe, dropping just about close enough to the Dualie Squelchers for the splat, before backing off momentarily. I move back to look for more opportunity, finding it staring down a scope, and try to catch up to the Tower, which is complicated by the Sloshing Machine being nearby. A squidmate keeps them busy, which helps, and I ride the Tower to run down the clock, securing our victory. Woomy!
