I don't know why I jumped to throw that Curling Bomb, but it landed on that block like I planned it. Also, there's clearly no one coming down that flank, so I send another Curling Bomb there to zoom behind the lines, and sneak up on the Tower. That catches the Splattershot Pro by surprise, which is nice, and jumping off the Tower for my first Splooshdown works out well too. I get back on the Tower until ink forces me off, and I jink to splat the Splattershot Pro again, before getting stuck in the Dualie's ink and getting caught myself.

Heading down the flank sees someone trying to hide on the block, and a little hop off the ledge splats them nicely. The Splattershot gets a bit unlucky getting in my way, and then sneaking around the side to try to surprise more inklings goes better than expected. My squidmates are on the Tower, so I do some tidying up, and then take over on the Tower after splatting the Octobrush from an opportune angle. If only I saw that ink moving past me, so that I am not thoroughly surprised by being splatted from behind.

I get my revenge on the Splattershot Pro pretty quickly, and dodge out of the way of a Hammer and Splashdown, before heading around the back again. I get some height and Splooshdown on to the Tower, but would have done better to hit the ground instead, and run away to try again, this time without a Splooshdown. Testing the range of the Splattershot Pro doesn't go so well either, though. Avoiding another Hammer, I head around the side to get closer to the Splattershot Pro, which works much better, and start reclaiming turf to help start our comeback after losing the lead, and by some margin.

The Tower progresses as I watch its track for trouble. Nothing is coming, so I push forwards and up, surprising but not splatting the Dualies, who dodge-roll off the ledge. I jump off, but to activate another Splooshdown, missing the Dualies again but splatting the Splattershot Pro, before doing a quick lap to make sure the Tower is okay. It seems to be, so I push forwards to try to keep the path clear, but make a silly mistake in rushing towards the Splattershot who is simply trying to ink.

I super-jump back, hoping to keep the push going. With my squidmates around the Tower I head around the side to either split the green team's attention or flank them. I end up keeping the Splattershot busy for a bit, and although my surprise Splooshdown doesn't pay off, my squidmates push the Tower in to the lead. Nice! As the lead is ours, I choose not to super-jump back but reclaim turf around our base. That charges my Splooshdown, but my squidmates have all been splatted, giving me no one to super-jump to. Time to be a little more defensive.

I keep the turf inked and head up and over the Tower for my Splooshdown. A squidmate beats me to the splat, which is fine, as it clears the Tower all the same, so I head off to ink more turf on the green side of the Institute. I circle back around to the Tower, arriving in good time to splat the Splattershot Pro avoiding a B-bomb, and adding my ink from another angle to make things difficult for the green team in general. As we reclaim the Tower, I consider jumping across to the green ledge, which coincides with the Splattershot shooting at the Tower. I pretty much jump to my doom. So it goes. It's no big loss either, not with the ten-second countdown begun. The green team steal the Tower briefly, but before I can get back to the action, my squidmates take it back, securing the victory. Woomy!
