It's coming up to the end of Splatfest, and we're teaming up. There are three of us, so we can't do a Tricolour battle, so it's a simple Turf War. I'm also giving the Dualie Squelchers a try. I should probably dodge roll to get the most out of them, but we can see how that goes. To start with, I spot someone I think is hiding, but also see ink coming up the wall, and turning my back on the hiding inkling perhaps wasn't the best option. I come back to see an inkling go down our alley. I give chase, and we shoot past each other a bit, until I dodge roll and get the splatting blow. Maybe there's something to this.

I give dodge-rolling another go when approaching the E-litre 4K, which seems like a good idea. It kinda works, in that they run away, and kinda doesn't, in that I don't splat them, and they end up splatting me at point-blank range when they come back. They were helped by the Ink Mine hitting me with a Point Sensor, but still. More practice required! I try my luck going up blind side, but I'm easily spotted and, despite this, continue to get pinged with an Ink Mine, and my bad aim.

My squidmates are at least holding our turf, so I super-jump back to them, which turns out less than great. I try again, only to jink back to help with an interloper. They are gone, and I could have ignored them anyway, and I head back up the Heights. I find myself in a neat position, and although I don't dodge-roll to splat the E-litre 4K, I hit them with both barrels for a satisfying splat. Another inkling jumps in to my shots for a second splat, and a third must have been inky to start with, only needing another drop.

That triple signals a wipeout against Milk Chocolate, and we press our advantage by pushing in to their turf. I hide a bit and pick of some targets, before trying to splat the E-litre 4K. I miss them, but find more inklings around, and manage to intercept one trying to get to our turf, dodge-rolling to stop them before they get too far. Nice! I head back in the dying seconds to solidify our victory, suffering a final splatting, but not one that affects the results. Woomy!
