Want a 3d platformer where SpongeBob bungie jumps with his underwear? Then check out this condensed version of the Cheapness affordable gaming review of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated [Episode 81] #short

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is a remaster of an earlier 3d platformer by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic. The full cheap gaming review shows how:
-The game has great visuals that display the SpongeBob characters in smooth CGI. The environments are good too with lovely kelp and sand, but the abundance of sand can take away from the distinctiveness of different areas and some areas are barren
-Good, cutesy, sweet music that captures the feeling of the show without actually using the show's music (It sounds like ukelele and lap steel guitar music plays for instance and it has some surf rock too)
-You play as Spongebob, Sandy and Patrick with different powers each (Patrick throws a watermelon as a lot of times developers have to take liberties when it comes to tie ins)
-The game has good 3d platforming gameplay with tight movement mechanics and simple combat (A little deliberate maybe) but it doesn't get challenging until the "Spongebob's Dream" level which is quite late game and thus you don't really make the most of it
-The sliding segments are fun as well
-Mild collectathon gameplay where most things are not too hard to find but is fun for those of us who like looking for socks and golden spatulas
-PS2 era 3d platforming more expansive and less tight in terms of design
-Not much dialogue (A lot for a 3d platformer) with good, ok and bad jokes (Or at least not all gags are winners)
-It has very good voice acting (Most of the original cast are present I believe apart from the voice over actors for Mermaid Man and Mr. Krabs)
-The game has unrefinements but it's hard to tell if they were there before the remaster: if so either the new coat of paint makes them more palatable or increases annoyance because some will ask why they are still there
-Perhaps your enjoyment of this game is highly dependent on whether or not you care about Spongebob (They made a good Bikini Bottom and Spongebob world at the very least - if it is the interpretation of a third party probably)
