State Of Decay 2 'JE' {Part 5} Infestation 'whack a mole' !!!
4Let's us play State of Decay Juggernaut edition on standard difficulty and this is part 5 of the second educated attempt at a playthrough! All gameplay footage has been captured using the Xbox One's built-in capture capability at a resolution of 720p but then it is upscaled to 1080p during the editing process for the best image possible for me to do at this point in time. We start this episode with planning our move to a bigger and better home base location where we will have more slots to build on and more facilities so we can begin recruiting more people to our community. It turns out though that we are short of influence points by a short amount so first things first we must head to our neighbours and sell off some things until we are at the influence level we need. Once we have sold a few items we are now in a position to lay claim to the new outpost which will be Rosies biker bar! Arriving at our soon to be new base we search out all the areas and then unlock it to which our community members arrive at once. Funnily enough there was no zombies to clear out this time around so claiming the location was the easiest it could have been! We start building an infirmary then stocking up with firebombs head out in the car. We see there are three infestations that have appeared on our map and so setting our way point to the first we begin the drive. Upon arriving at the first location which turns out to be a type of shopping area we once again try the tactic that failed so miserably for us the very first attempt ever in the previous playthrough to destroy an infestation. Using firecrackers as a lure to entice the zombies out and have them bunch up in a crowded group we can then use one of our firebombs to burn them all up. The firecracker does not seem to attract their attention for some reason but upon getting closer to the building they all of a sudden start pouring out onto the car park. A few firebomb throws later, and infestation number one has been cleaned up! The next infestation location is at some kind of a building site and oddly enough the zombies have spawned on top the roof of the building that's currently under construction. We use the firecracker trick again but only a few of the zeds that are not on the roof react to it! We take those out by firebomb before heading right up to the house and throwing some up onto the roof which seems to do the job as we get another successful mission complete notification. The last and final infestation at the moment at least is a harder one apparently with a higher rating at three. But although we are almost out of firebombs, we manage to successfully clean out the location of the infected undead. Collecting a few of the items at each location we head back to base and will come back for the rest later on. Arriving back at the home base we see our infirmary has completed and so we upgrade and get the injured and sick immitted. We break down one of the seating areas and build beds in its place, so everyone has a bed to sleep in. The last thing we get done before the episode ends is loot the petrol station directly next to the home base and grab a good amount of fuel sacks from there.
