Metro Exodus {part 10} THIS is why they HATE Technology !!
Let's Play Metro Exodus on Xbox One S and this is episode {part 10}. All gameplay footage was recorded using the Xbox One's built-in capture capability and then upscaled from 720p to 1080p for the best image quality I am currently able to produce. Continuing the mission to find and retrieve the train carriage we find a stairway that leads up to the ground level of the containment facility where we come across a large loading bay double door that we can open to the outside. Next to the doors is a small room that houses the controls needed to rotate the last storage cylinder that rotates to a line the tracks, but it has become jammed due to falling debris broken away from the roof of the building. We learn that the church cult has been worshipping the large sea monster that we find out via audio log is actually a mutated catfish which they feed their dead to as a sacrifice I am guessing. There is a note to read that mentions the people that have died, and we find out the main cause of most of their deaths was from the electric anomaly's we see come out at night-time. So now it makes sense why they are so against modern day technology due to how the majority of it is powered by electricity. There are some nights vision goggles to collect in a back room where we also find many bodies that have been wrapped like mummies ready for their bodies to be sacrificed. Making our way back into the control room we pull some leavers and cut some ropes but do not seem to manage to kill the sea monster which I am disappointed about... I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt me later on! Once all that good stuff is done, we open the large loading doors and then get into the carriage to drive it back to the train. On the journey back we hit another problem literally! The track splits at a junction and we need to find a way to switch the track so we can continue on the correct route back as this track will lead right back to the Aroura. Looking around I wasn't able to see the control to change the track but instead ended up getting attacked by a demon that are ever present above us flying through the skies in this game. Oh, and there was a really awesome nest that we spotted that I assume is one of the demon nests so that was cool to see! After a minute or two we pull out our binoculars and spot what looks like a signal house a little way down the tracks so we decide to head there to see what we can find. It is very clear that this is now enemy territory, and we must be cautious and stay well-hidden in case of getting spotted by the large enemy position right next to the signal tower. It is almost half an hour by this point so upon entering the signal tower and finding a work bench and a bed it is decided we shall sleep until the night-time hopefully given us the edge against the bandits if we have to venture into their base to find a track changing control room. But for now, it's time to end the episode and we shall find out what happens in the next one. I really hope this video is entertaining and enjoyable!
