State Of Decay 2 'JE' {Part 7} My First Juggernaut Encounter.. WOW !!!
3Let's us play State of Decay Juggernaut edition on standard difficulty and this is part 7 of the second educated attempt at a playthrough! All gameplay footage has been captured using the Xbox One's built-in capture capability at a resolution of 720p but then it is upscaled to 1080p during the editing process for the best image possible for me to do at this point in time. So, we finally meet it! Its big and its angry and it can move at speeds that are hard to outrun especially when the stamina bar gets low! I am in fact talking about a juggernaut! This is the first encounter ever of a juggernaut in State of Decay 2 'JE' and boy was it an experience. The episode starts out with everyone back at the home base and we are in control of Max for the majority of the 30 minutes. Checking the map, we notice a few more infestations have popped up not all that far from our home base so it is decided that getting on top of them again will be a worthy investment of time. We did plan to also do some more plague hearts this episode, but that plan went out of the window once the juggernaut showed up. We make some more soda can bombs as well as firebombs to take with us, but we also grab a box mine to see if we can come up with a plan that involves luring the horde to it blowing them up. It is currently night-time but soon turns to daylight by the time we arrive at the first infestation location. The location is another construction site, and the zombies spot us almost immediately. Teancum has been chosen to accompany us on the infestation, so we have some back up and extra storage slots but instantly we regret bringing him! We park the car a little way back from the building site and lay the box mine in-between the zombie horde and the car then get back into the car to beep the horn. Only Teancum has other ideas and doesn't get back into the car with us but instead charges full on into the crowd of the undead!! As soon as he does that everything falls apart and its every man for himself as firebombs fly and box mines explode. We eventually get back in control of the situation and the infestation is cleared away so we loot all that we can and pick up two sacks of building materials so that's a great result in the end. We get back in the car and set off for the second infestation narrowly missing a bloater when we pull away but within a short time, we arrive at location number two. Once again, it's a construction site and all the undead horde is mulling around in the centre all bunched together. So rather than using the car to lure them away from the location and run them all day it is decided a few Molotov cocktails will do beans as they are so title packed together. Once again though it doesn't go to plan as our companion chooses to just storm in amongst them and starts swinging away as our firebombs begin to rain down!! Screw him we say and just continue raining down hell fire from above until we have to take the three screamers out due to them causing our movement to lock up. The screamers are taken out the old fashioned with the 12-gauge shotgun, but this has a noise issue! Before we have a chance to even understand the situation as it unfolds, we hear a sound we have never heard before... a guttering growl of something huge!! Sure enough, as we turn around, we see it... A huge angry juggernaut and boy is he upset and fast!! But our stupid companion is standing toe to toe with this goliath trying to duke it out but constantly being put on his back on the floor and crying for help!! We do our best to fight back but this monster is fast and angry and still fighting us even after three soda bombs and over a dozen of 12-gauge buck shot to the head. This is a very bad situation, and it could go either way!! Watch to see how it all ends, you won't be disappointed.
