State Of Decay 2 {Part 2} I have no clue what I'm doing...
6Let's Play State of Decay 2 on the Xbox One S and this is PART 2 of this series. All gameplay footage was recorded using the Xbox One's built-in capture software and then upscaled to 1080p. So, this episode is basically just the tutorial section at the beginning of the game and ends when we get to the very first base camp. I decided to have a go at this game due to it having a fairly intense cult following that the people who play it really seem to love it a whole lot. So, I really wanted to give it a try for myself to see what all the fuss was about and so far, its definably interesting and intriguing... I have read it has a very steep learning curve that makes it the sort of game that you have to put a lot of time into learn it fully and get to grips with all its systems. So probably not the best game to come into first time on YouTube but hey, I thought it could be fun an interesting. I wanted to find a game that I could keep coming back to that doesn't have to much story and things and that I can have breaks from without it causing too much continuity issues. So, in this episode I really struggle to work out what on earth I am supposed to be doing! The game is very complex and reminds me a lot of the old Theme Park, Theme Hospital era games. I will figure it out though eventually I am certain of that. I did manage to complete the very first assigned mission though which was to get more plague samples and bring them back to the infirmary where I had to turn them into a medicine which I then gave to my
friend Jess who was sick during the tutorial level. The tutorial level was a strange one as it just felt like the natural start to the game so having it as a skippable tutorial seemed a bit odd. I guess this is the type of game that people will play over and over again so I suppose it does make sense to make it skippable. I would have made it mandatory for first time playthroughs and then make it optional for every playthrough after that, but that's just me and what the hell do I know lol. I am just trying to fill lines!
