Metro Exodus {part 3} My New 'MAN' Mates...... and Anna...!!!
3Let's Play Metro Exodus on the Xbox One S and this is part 3 of this series. All gameplay footage is recorded using the Xbox One's internal capture software and then upscaled from 720p to 1080p for the best-looking picture. Okay, so this episode begins on the train that Artyom has jumped onto with some C4 that he is going to use to blow up the engine and take the locomotive out of action so we can continue on our adventure. We get into a bit of a conundrum that we actually already had the answers too... So, I recorded this episode before reading my comments and it just so happens Demolition Kiwi had left a comment explaining everything, so I never needed to go through all the aggro we ended up going through lol. So, the big issue was that bullet hole in my gasmask that was causing Artyom to constantly choke and die before I could progress to the next part of the story after blowing up the train. After much messing around and trying to force my way through the level as quickly as possible I ended up looking in the options and control layout and finally figured it out myself! Anyway, we finally place the C4 on the firebox of the locomotive and make a jump across to our train that catches up to the side of the evil train in the nick of time. Having made it safely onto our new transportation unit we pull out the detonator and press the button and it goes BOOM!! Finally, we are free and on the open tracks heading to who knows where, but the air is clean and the countryside beautiful. After some inevitable conversations with Miller and what he knows we get onto the trains radio and dial in a signal. It is the Ark we are told by Miller, and he says it's the perfect place for them to go and live but it sounds know different from Polis and the Metro stations in general. Everyone agrees though and the homebrew grog is liberally poured to toast Artyom and him being correct. The rest of this episode is set on the train as we go around speaking, well, Artyom keeps his gob shut, but we listen to everyone else and begin to get to know our rag tag team of men that have due to circumstance become our travel and adventure buddies. The way it's looking I imagine by the end of the game we will know these characters as well as Khan and Artyom himself, maybe even more so!! I am loving it and cannot wait to get playing as soon as possible!! It just does everything it does so perfectly, and I am thrilled to be playing it finally after such a long wait.
