6Apologies for the harmonica intro. To some it's a beautiful warming sound but to others its nails against the chalk board. Hopefully everyone is the warm kind, Haha!! Let's Play State of Decay 2 on the Xbox One S and this is PART 4 in this amazing series!! All gameplay footage has been captured in 720p using the Xbox One's built-in capture software and then upscaled to 1080p for the best video quality. So, in this episode we learn a few more new things such as the existence of the so-called plague hearts as well as our first-time interactions with other survivors. These interactions are more than just rescuing someone from a bad situation, they are a lot more involved with added side missions that branch off making the initial encounter much more interesting. We also did some more base management and resource organising with the building of a workshop that allows us to repair and fabricate weapons and throwables such as bombs and mines. Currently I am only able to make drink can bombs but that's a new thing that I am happy to know how to do. The game is slowly revealing its secrets and I am beginning to understand how its systems work, only some systems but I am sure all of them will work roughly the same way. We have the car stocked up and running good so that we can travel farther distances and also use the boot space for gathering more resources during every trip out to the different stores and locations dotted around the map. The zombies so far feel like more of an inconvenience than a real threat at this point in the game so I am guessing they will become much larger in numbers as the game goes on and some different more aggressive variations of them will be introduced as the days pass by. I don't remember exactly what day I am currently on, but I am thinking it's not more than two or three, so I am very early into this game meaning there is plenty of time for more interesting and challenging things to come. So far, I am really starting to enjoy this game and have realised that playing the game on its terms has really increased the enjoyment factor. This is a game all about systems and with systems you have to engage with them the way the rules are decided otherwise it becomes frustrating followed by loss of interest. But yes, so far so good and I cannot wait to see just how things progress. Anyway, thanks for watching I really hope you enjoyed the video. I probably shouldn't have started three games going side by side, but I thought I would have completed the Metro Last Light DLC by now which kind of through some spanners into the works lol.
