Dead Space 2 is "playable" which basically means it just inherits all the existing issues from the PC version. No proton needed and the "issues" are design flaws, not actual problems that canbe solved. Resolution needs to be manually changed and you "have" to log in to your EA account. Also, by default v-sync is enabled which locks the game to 30 fps but turning it off will let it run at 60. And, of course, it doesn't support cloud saves.
