Here's my (not very good) playthrough of the awesome classic beat 'em up game, Streets of Rage, a.k.a. Bare Knuckle, for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive video game entertainment systems.

I loved this game as a kid. Back then I had only three games I knew I could actually beat completely whenever I wanted; Cool Spot, Toy Story and Streets of Rage. I regularly played Streets of Rage on the Hardest difficulty and kept asking friends and family members to play it with me because I knew that regardless of how bad they might be at it I could pick up the slack for them and beat the game. I even beat the game once with my grandmother who managed to stay alive up until Stage 6 with my help. Sometimes I even started 2 player games alone and just got the second player killed to increase the amount of enemies I would get to beat, because I just really loved big brawls.

Unfortunately I'm not good at the game anymore, but I felt like playing it again and I need to upload videos monthly anyway, so I decided to give it a go and record it.

I answered "Yes" to Mr. X's proposition completely by accident, because while recording I was actually watching Video Games Awesome! on another screen and I remembered the declining answer being on top, so I just casually pressed B while at the same time looking away. I figured it didn't matter much, though, because if you're a crazy person who likes watching Streets of Rage gameplay, then more's the better, right? It also increased my score, and back in the day high scores were what video games were all about.
