In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Hunter for powerful Stun synergy! I've always had a lot to say about Hunter, and I've been saying it basically from day one of me uploading videos. He used to be very underrated, people would even say he's bad and unusable, but I've been a long time advocate of Hunter's viability. The thing I've always sung the praises of for Hunter is the power of his swap at Legendary; it deals a ton of damage very quickly to one enemy while also being a powerful AoE at the same time, capable of taking out entire rooms of enemies. Not only that, but Hunter's swap has only gotten better since those days with the newest addition he got, which is his stun trap he leaves on the ground when he swaps. This works much like the Huntress adventurer's traps; when an enemy steps into it they get stunned. This sent Hunter from an underrated powerhouse to an undeniable powerhouse, with one of the most consistent stun methods in the entire game. With that power is how I build this run: the power of Stun! Stun is and probably always will be the strongest status in the game. The power to stop an enemy dead in their tracks and, if fully invested, deal greatly amplified damage to them while they're stunned is undeniably powerful. Under normal circumstances this is run changing, but this run I get very lucky and get the Stun Legendary: Armor of Fear! Armor of Fear takes every amount of damage you deal during an enemy's stun duration and deals it back to them in the form of true damage. This doubles your total DPS while hitting stunned enemies, which can lead to explosive results under the right circumstances, and Armor of Fear also counts item damage as well while an enemy is stunned, a fairly unique quality on an item.
