In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Omens as a scaling method! Omens are one of the most dangerous things in the entire game, and most of them are under normal circumstances simply items to challenge your skill and make your run tougher. However, the few exceptions are extremely powerful to the point of absurdity, and one of those is the Thirteenth Bone. This item encourages you to take more Omens by scaling both your physical and magic damage by 110% for every Omen you own. This by itself is a very powerful damage scaling method, but is also extremely dangerous due to Omen's debuffs, with you having 3+ of them leading to you instantly dying when taking any damage. This is where the dark ability Mercury Hearts comes in, which earns you two instances of them every time you kill a dark elite, and these cause you to gain 1 second of invincibility whenever you take a hit. If you play your cards right you can stack these up to completely negate the downsides of Omen 3, but even then it's still tough. You need powerful AoE damage and items that allow you to deal safe damage from a distance to get a run like this going, such as Raven's Monarch Feather and Hunter's Boots. The skulls of choice for this run will be Archlich and Werewolf, will these two be able to overcome the odds set against us by these Omens and come out victorious?
