I use Captain Falcon to go through All-Star Mode, and he is one of the few characters that has an easy time with All-Star Mode. While you deal more damage to your opponents, all of Captain Falcon's moves are close ranged, he does not have any projectile moves, so the increased damage is really good for Captain Falcon, his best attacks are his forward smash, and if you can land the knee, that can be a good KO option, Falcon Punch does have great knockback, but using it does leave Captain Falcon wide open for a while. You take less damage and knockback from your opponent's attacks, but you do have to watch out for stage hazards.
The 3DS version for Captain Falcon's Alt. Trophy uses his Blood Falcon costume, that is his 3rd alternate costume, while the Wii U version uses his white and pink costume, that is his 6th alternate costume.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

Being the only character from the F-Zero series, there is only one F-Zero stage in each version of Super Smash Bros. 4, the 3DS version has Mute City, which is based on its appearance from F-Zero on the SNES, and was renamed to Mute City SNES in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, while the Wii U version has Port Town Aero Dive. Other stages you fight Captain Falcon and other characters that debuted in 1990-1986 are Yoshi's Island, Reset Bomb Forest, Wily Castle, and Suzaku Castle, and in the Wii U version, the stages are Woolly World, Yoshi's Island (Melee), Wily Castle, and Suzaku Castle. I have decided to include Melee after Yoshi's Island, because both stages are called Yoshi's Island, the Melee variant is in the Wii U version, and the Brawl variant is in the 3DS version.
I do like the detail of Captain Falcon's Final Smash Trophy where one of the characters hit by that move is Sonic, and while it does have Yoshi as well. I did look up on the Smash Wiki, and Blue Falcon is the first Final Smash to be a cinematic Final Smash, and it was the only cinematic Final Smash in Brawl, and then in this game and in Ultimate they add more cinematic Final Smash moves, all of the DLC characters in Ultimate have a cinematic Final Smash.
