The next character I play as for All-Star Mode is Yoshi, debuting in Super Mario World, Yoshi appears as an opponent in Round 5, from 1990 to 1986. For Yoshi's Alt. Trophies, the 3DS version uses Yoshi's 2nd alternate costume, that is the Red Yoshi, and the Wii U version has the Yellow Yoshi used for his Alt. Trophy, that is Yoshi's 4th alternate costume.
In All-Star Mode, damage done to opponents are increased, and Yoshi has a lot of air attacks and some attacks that deal multiple hits, like his down aerial, which is good for getting in damage, and then following up with a smash attack to KO them, opponent's attacks deal less damage and knockback, the only thing that you have to watch out are stage hazards, as they keep their normal knockback.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

Yoshi has two stages, despite being the only character from the Yoshi series, even to this day, despite Yoshi having been playable since Super Smash Bros. 64, those stages are Yoshi's Island and Woolly World, and in this game, the stage is called Yoshi's Island, but you can call it Yoshi's Island (Melee) if you want, as that is what the stage is called to tell apart from the Yoshi's Island stage in Brawl, which is in the 3DS version. Other stages that can appear are Port Town Aero Dive, Wily Castle, or Suzaku Castle in the Wii U version, while in the 3DS version, the following stages that can appear when fighting Yoshi and other characters that debuted in 1986-1990 are Mute City, and by the way, the stage is just called Mute City in the 3DS version, it is called Mute City SNES in Ultimate, the other stages are Reset Bomb Forest, Wily Castle, or Suzaku Castle.
You then get the Trophy for Yoshi's Final Smash, Super Dragon, for completing Classic Mode with Yoshi, and despite the Trophy showing Yoshi using his Final Smash on Goombas and Koopa Troopas, this is not possible in this game, while you do fight those enemies in Smash Run in the 3DS version, Final Smash moves cannot be used in Smash Run, and that was not brought over to the Wii U version, the Trophy for Yoshi's Final Smash could be a reference to Yoshi's Final Smash Trophy in Brawl where it shows him using it against those enemies.
